Spider Wheel
The beauty of the natural world informs my artistic choices.
I am fascinated by the abstract, invisible landscapes and cosmos-like atmospheres of the microscopic world.
I am intrigued by contrast: order and chaos, repetition and instance, pattern and disorganization, grids and imperfection, balance and imbalance, the textural and the intangible, dark and light.
My work is concerned with bringing things unseen, things remembered, things experienced to light. Translating the essence of what I sense, to paper and ink, is my practice.
